I Was Enthralled By Pat's Answers to Questions

Excerpt from the blog:

I know I am only one vote, but up until your "Voice of the Voters" appearance last evening, I assumed it would be the usual polarized political process.

Your responses to healthcare, busines and education were fresh and innovative. After listening to you, I began to suspect you are nothing short of brilliant. When the program finished I went to your website and read every word and my suspicions were confirmed!

I had not spent time doing my usual pre-election research. As a single mother of three and a very full time businesswoman, it seems I have less and less time to do anything other than work and pay the bills.

Last evening was my first real opportunity to listen to Pat LaMarche. After the first few questions you answered, I became totally enthralled in the program to see how you would answer the next question and the next. Listening to the other candidates was so predictable and full of the party rhetoric that always flows before an election.

Your responses to healthcare, business and education were fresh and innovative. After listening to you, I began to suspect you are nothing short of brilliant. When the program finished I went to your website and read every word and my suspicions were confirmed!

I was so excited to learn about you and the values that motivate you to serve. You referred to three of my political heroes: Angus King, James Longley and most of all Margaret Chase Smith.

I am going off to work tomorrow so excited about the potential of you becoming the Governor of Maine. No doubt you have my vote and anyone else that I can influence before the election.
