LaMarche Cure ALL for Maine's Health and Economic Crisis
Portland, Maine — On Thursday, September 21, at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, Pat LaMarche, Green Independent candidate for Governor, released her "LaMarche Healthcare Plan," which builds on the recommendations of the Maine Health Care Reform Commission report, which was issued in November 1995.
LaMarche was joined by business owners and health care experts to discuss her universal healthcare plan, which is the cornerstone of her campaign and the cure ALL for health and economic growth in Maine.
A calculator, which allows Maine businesses to estimate the amount they will pay for annual healthcare expenses, is included on the LaMarche website, as are a downloadable copy of the plan and healthcare-related materials and interactives.
